We proudly bring VietnamJUMP once again to all of you with the hope of creating a modern fairy tale with plenty of newly exciting activities.

VietnamJUMP 2010 is an overseas community service trip that NUS students who share the same interest of helping hard lives around gather together.

The team will be built up with about 20-25 young hearts and share the mission of spreading the smiles among lovely children and the needy in Long An Province, the Southern part of Vietnam.

During the two weeks (started Mid May 2010), volunteers will help with building six small toilets and one water filter container for elementary students as well as organizing activities for the children there.

There are also cultural exchange sessions with the students at Phuoc Lai elementary and secondary school.

Together with social activities, volunteers also have chance to visit The Mekong Delta. The Mekong River, which begins high in the mountains of Tibet, ends its journey in Vietnam's southern delta. Before flowing into the sea, the river branches into nine tributaries, known as Cuu Long or the Nine Dragons. These rivers are the south's life-blood, nourishing the delta's paddy fields and fruit orchards. Just a few hours from the bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, life in the Mekong Delta unfolds at its own, slow, steady pace. This is Vietnam's heartland, a place where time is still dictated by the river and the rice harvests.

Besides, the excursion will be overwhelmed with many culture-exploring activities which aim to enhance the awareness of Vietnamese culture.

One Coin One Brick used to be a great success in raising fund for VietnamJUMP 2009. This year, Esta Noche Concert is our great effort in replacing Once Coin One Brick with the hope to make VietnamJUMP even more successful than ever. All the money we get from this concert will be used to build six toilets and one big water filter container for the needy in Long An Province.
