On 5^th April, VietnamJUMP held the flagship fundraising event of our project, the charity dinner. After countless hours of planning and preparation, we managed to raise a total sum of $4450 through our many supporters and well-wishers.

Up next: Bau Chinh!

VJUMP finally kick started our fund raising effort for our May trip with 2 bazaars in NUS, one in late February and the other in early March. It was huge success thanks to all our friends in NUS who bought the many items we sold including cards, brochures, handmade roses. The money you gave will go a long away in changing the lives of the people in Bau Chinh province! And we assure you that every single cent of your contribution will be well spent towards this meaningful cause.

After long days in waiting, finally we’ve got the approval from the local government . Though examination is coming soon, all team are still working so hard to prepare for the December trip. 20 days left, let the countdown begin …….

The first meeting of VietnamJUMP big team was conducted from 3 to 6p.m, 13/10/2011 in TV Room 5 _ Prince George’s Park _ National University of Singapore. It was the big chance for all of us to meet each others before getting on the very long way ahead.The very first meeting of Vietnam JUMP project has actually brought inside it the style of NUS – friendly and effective.

The second project meeting has come also after a few weeks, which is time for serious jobs with the main purpose of Vietnam JUMP – giving out a hand to improve lives of people living in underprivileged village in Vietnam. Hence, with the awareness of the hard life of people, students will learn to appreciate the peace and the good living conditions they are having.
